Finished Moving

Well we have finished moving for the most part. The apartment in San Diego is empty keys are turned in and to be honest I am glad to be out of there. We have everything but a few things here and there moved into the house here in Corcoran and really just need to put things away. Mom re-organized my kitchen it looks really nice. I will be excited to be able to sew and re-decorate some things.

My younger brother helped out alot! So I need to figure out some really neat things to do for him. Mom and dad helped too! Mom is still here helping (well we are not doing much of anything but I'm sure we'll find something later) I think we might try to set up my sewing machine later today so that I can try to sew.

Until later! Maybe I'll have some pictures to share later.

Don't overdo it, Heather. Moving is not an easy job, no matter how young or old a person is. When we moved 12 years ago, I took two weeks off work, slept little, worked almost nonstop, and when I was down to the last room, which was the kitchen, I got such an overwhelming feeling, I just cried, but I didn't want to go back to work with my home not finished. I think it took me two years to recuperate! I guess moving didn't end there though, as home improvements soon followed. We had a few unexpected surprises, but we made it through.

Take care of you, and post some pictures soon so we can see!

It sounds like it all went well. Don't rush things and little by little you'll make it your HOME. I always figure if you have the kitchen done and your bedroom then you're well on your way. Remember to take time out for you. I can't wait to see pictures.

Glad to hear you got moved. Have a little fun sewing. The unpacking will happen in it's own time.

Glad you are getting all settled in. I am sure just having the move over is a great weight off your shoulders. Now, get out that machine and treat yourself to some sewing time!!
